The Scribe is a slim 58mm Victorinox model that is very similar to the Escort, replacing the toothpick in the scales with a retractable pen. The toothpick was also originally included in the package allowing the buyer to decide which tool to carry in the scale opposite the pen.
This model was previously known as the Vintage II.

History
The Scribe was first available in 2003. It appears to be the identical knife to the earlier Vintage II model, which had a different Victorinox model number, however the SABI number was the same. It appears that the Escort replaced the Vintage, and the Scribe replaced the Vintage II.
