The Physician Knife is very rare single layer 58mm knife. It was not available directly from Victorinox, which means it was likely a custom ordered knife. It is not known who originally ordered it. This knife was an advertising knife made for the medical community.

The Physician Knife comes with Cellidor scales. It is only available in Red. In addition to the Victorinox Shield, it has the words: "Physician Knife" printed on the front handle in silver screen print and usually a drug advertising on the back.

Little is known about the history of this knife. As indicated above, it may have been a custom order with a knife shop. Or more likely it was sold through the Premium Sales channels to the medical industry.
