Two of the models commemorate the Russian Defender of the Fatherland Day, which is celebrated on 23rd February every year, and recognises the contribution of the Russian Armed Forces over the years. For more information see this WikipedIa link.
One model commemorates the Russian Victory Day, which is celebrated on 9th May every year and recognises the end of the Great Patriotic War.
In 2018, for an unknown reason, the scale design of the two models (Defender of the Fatherland Day II and Soccer II) were redesigned. So now the series consists of nine different models.
In November 2020 an additional Russian Edition series was released, (ordered by the Russian Victorinox distributor Merlion), consisting of seven Spartans with picture-decorated scales.
They are sold in standard packaging.
