Wenger introduced their large folding scissors in the Ranger 120mm series of models around 2006.
These scissors have a clever design and fold out from the body of the knife.
The tool occupies three spring layers in the centre of the knife, consisting of a handle, a fixed blade, and a movable blade. Spring action for the scissors is provided by a neat linkage to the backspring.
These scissors migrated to the Ranger 130mm series and then onto the Victorinox Delémont 130mm family.
