Victorinox Diplomat

Victorinox 58mm Diplomat Swiss Army Knife The Victorinox Diplomat is a 58mm Swiss Army knife that is very closely related to the Classic SD. The only real difference is it has chromed stainless steel scales and no Toothpick or Tweezers. This model is not very well known and is often mistaken for a Sterling Silver Classic.
Discontinued model.

Layer Tools

Stamped Polished Chromed Stainless Steel, with a diagonal checkered pattern, not that different from the texture on the current Alox Classic. The scales are not a machined turned solid stainless steel like on the Broker and some others. The logo on the top scale is embossed with a silver cross and a bright red enamel shield. There is an engraving panel on the bottom scale.

  1. Not a true variation, but the Brushed Stainless Steel (US Model 53099) is a very similar model Classic, replacing the handles with a brushed stainless steel variety and a more matte red emblem.

The knife was originally packaged with a nice soft cloth case, very similar to that provide with the Classic SD Sterling series.
