The Universal Wrench is a Wenger layer tool available in some of the larger 85mm models. It has a multiple sized hex head wrench opening and is mainly useful for smaller (M3, M4, M5) bolts or nuts. This tool is always paired opposite a Phillips Screwdriver.
When Victorinox merged the Wenger and Victorinox product lines in 2014, this tool replaced the second magnifying glass in the SwissChamp XAVT, thereby integrating a Wenger tool in a Victorinox frame and model!
According to published works, this tool was first introduced into some Wenger models around 1975.
