Victorinox Pioneer Scout

The Victorinox Scout (0.8060.22R) was first released as a special-run of only 50 knives for collectors in May 2012.  Each knife is numbered and dated on the main blade with an engraving. The Pioneer Scout is a special limited edition 93mm two-layer Alox scaled model created for collectors.
This model adds a wood-saw to the Pioneer Apprentice, and was made in very limited quantities.

Variations

  1. The first run was made with blue anodized scales, May 2012.
  2. The second run was made with army-green anodized scales, May 2012. This is a very dark grey/green shade that is believed to be first used with this knife.

History

First manufactured in May 2012 in a limited special-run of 50 pieces with blue anodized scales. Each piece was numbered 50/n and dated 05 - 2012. This knife configuration had no official name so it was named the Pioneer Scout. The second run was released shortly afterwards in Mid-May 2012 with the dark army-green anodized scales.
